Melt 1/3cup butter in iron skillet (or 9x13-inch pan). Mix nuts with brown sugar and spread over butter. Lay pineapple slices evenly over mixture. Cream 1/2cup butter and 1 cup sugar. Add eggs, beating well after each. Add flour and milk, a little at a time. Then add vanilla and baking powder. Pour over pineapple and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Let stand about 5 minutes; then invert.
