Sauté onion in butter until brown. Soak crumbs in half-and-half. Combine beef, eggs, salt, pepper, and nutmeg; mix until smooth. Chill for 2 hours.
Shape into balls. Fry in butter to brown evenly. Place in glass chafing dish. Combine bouillon cube, water, and wine. Heat and dissolve cube completely. Pour over meatballs and warm before serving. Garnish with parsley.
