Heat cups or glasses by rinsing with very hot water, or let them sit near or on a warm stove. Fill each glass with 2 teaspoons superfine sugar. Fill each glass 3/4 full with strong, hot coffee. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add 3/4 - 1 ounce of Irish whiskey to each glass and stir well. Top each serving with a dollop of whipped cream. Serve immediately. Do not mix the cream through the coffee. The hot, whiskey-laced coffee is to be sipped through the velvety cream.
