1/4 pound mushrooms
1 16-ounce package cod filets frozen
1/2 cup italian herb dressing zesty
1/4 cup rhine wine
Preheat oven to 400°.
Clean mushrooms; thinly slice. Arrange mushrooms in bottom of a 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish; set aside.
Place package of frozen cod under hot running water for about 20 seconds on each side. Using a sharp knife, cut block of fish into four equal portions. Arrange in dish over mushrooms.
In a small dish, mix salad dressing and wine until blended. Pour over fish.
Bake for 20 to 22 minutes or until thickest portion of fish flakes easily with a fork (do not overbake), basting fish with liquid in dish after 7 and 15 minutes.
To serve, spoon liquid and mushrooms over fish.
Serve with wild rice, crusty rolls and a lettuce salad.
