Place bacon on a microwavable bacon rack or between paper towels. Microwave at 100% power (700 watts) for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until browned. Set bacon aside.
In a medium bowl, mix ground beef. Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Shape into two patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Place on a paper towel-lined plate or bacon rack. Top each with an onion slice. Cover with waxed paper. Microwave at 100% power for 3 to 3 1/2 minutes or until almost desired doneness.
Meanwhile, toast English muffin halves. Spread with mayonnaise.
To assemble, place muffin halves two inches apart on a microwavable plate. On each, layer in order, hamburger patty, tomato, two bacon strips and cheese. Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power for 30 to 40 seconds or until cheese melts.
