* Cooking Time: 14 minutes Power: 70% (490 watts) 100% (700 watts) In a medium bowl, beat egg with a fork. Add ground beef, sausage, water chestnuts, bread crumbs, soy sauce, garlic salt, onion powder and pepper and mix until blended. Shape into meatballs, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Arrange meatballs in a microwavable colander, stacking meatballs up the sides and leaving center open. Place colander in a microwavable pie plate. Cover with waxed paper. Microwave at 70% power (490 watts) for 8 minutes or until no longer pink and meatballs are firm, separating and rearranging meatballs after 6 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a 2-cup glass measuring cup, stir pineapple juice, catsup, water, brown sugar, cornstarch and onion until cornstarch is dissolved. Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power (700 watts) for 4 minutes or until boiling, stirring after 2 minutes.

Drain liquid from pie plate. Place meatballs in pie plate cover with sauce. Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power for 2 minutes or until bubbly around edges and heated through.
Serve over noodles or rice.
Note: Meatballs can be served in a pita pocket with sliced mushrooms and sprouts. Or, make a meatball sandwich using a marinara sauce instead of the sweet and sour sauce.
