1. Heat oven to 325°. Have a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan ready.
2. Beat butter and 3/4 cup sugar in a medium bowl with electric mixer until fluffy. On low speed, gradually beat in flour. Press evenly in bottom of pan. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Press lightly into dough. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar. Bake 50 to 60 minutes until golden. Cut into bars while still hot. Cool in pan on a wire rack.
