Cabbage-Potato Meatloaf

Ingredients

8 potatoes
salt and pepper to taste
1 head cabbage, sliced
1 1/2 - 2 pounds ground round
2 eggs
10 - 15 saltine crackers
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 - 2 cups water

Directions:

Spray dutch oven with vegetable cooking spray. Peel and slice half the potatoes and layer on bottom of dutch oven. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. add a layer of sliced cabbage. Mix ground round, eggs, saltine crackers, and chopped onion. Make a large patty and place on top of cabbage. Cover with another layer of cabbage and then another layer of remaining potatoes. Sprinkle with more salt and pepper. add water; bring to a boil, then cover and simmer 45–50 minutes.


Fun Fact: The most popular type of green bean is the string bean.
