In a medium bowl with electric mixer, cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, and Irish Cream liquor. Set aside. Sift together flour, soda, and salt; add to butter mixture.
In a separate bowl, combine walnuts and white chocolate chunks, then add to mixture, just to blend. Drop by heaping tablespoon onto parchment-paper-covered cookie sheet, 2-inches apart and bake in a preheated 375° oven for approximately 11-13 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
