Bring milk and butter to a fast boil in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat. Add salt and flour, stirring constantly, until mixture forms a ball; cool. In large mixing bowl, mix dough with eggs, one at a time, beating constantly at slow speed until each egg is thoroughly incorporated. Drop by tablespoon onto greased and floured baking sheet. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Do not open oven door during cooking. Cool. Split puffs only enough to fill with ice cream, whipped cream, or pudding.
