Melt butter in 9x13-inch pan. Mix flour, 2/3 cup sugar, baking powder, and milk. Pour this over melted butter, DON’T STIR. Add peaches on top. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar on top of peaches. Bake at 350°–375° for at least 45 minutes. Should be nice and brown.
Note: May sprinkle a little cinnamon and nutmeg along with the sugar on top.
