Mix ground beef, egg, onion and green pepper in a medium bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste. Shape mixture into small meatballs and place in a skillet. Brown on all sides. Drain and remove from skillet. In a large bowl, blend together soup, water, sour cream and macaroni. Add peas and meatballs; stir well. Place in a lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
Make it a homespun holiday... arrange evergreen branches in a sap bucket and decorate with vintage glass ornaments.
