Mix potatoes, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 stick melted margarine, eggs, and vanilla well and pour into a 9x13-inch pan. Mix remaining ingredients and slowly pour on top of sweet potato mixture; spread evenly without disturbing sweet potato mixture. Bake at 350° for 1 hour, or until topping is set as a pecan pie would be.
