1 cup bread crumbs soft
Water
5 tablespoons onions chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 pound ground beef (not too lean as it makes the meatballs tough)
Moisten bread crumbs with water and let stand a few minutes. Pour off excess water. Do not squeeze. Add onion and salt to meat. Add moistened bread to meat and mix well. Form into walnut-size balls and fry. If using a non-stick skillet do not use any shortening for frying.
