Bring water to a boil; stir in gelatin mix until dissolved. Stir in marshmallows until melted. Add drained pineapple, mixing well. Gently stir in bananas until well blended. Pour into an ungreased 11"x7" baking pan. Refrigerate until firm. Combine reserved pineapple juice, sugar, flour and egg in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until thickened; cool completely. Fold in whipped topping; spread over gelatin mixture. Sprinkle with cheese.
