Toss together bread crumbs and seasonings in a large bowl; set aside. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté celery and onions in butter for 5 minutes, until tender. Add broth to skillet. Simmer for several minutes; pour over crumb mixture and toss to moisten. Form 1/2 cupfuls into balls and place in a greased 13"x9" baking pan. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Tip: Day-old bread is fine for stuffing. It keeps its texture better than very fresh bread...it's thrifty too!
