Heat apple slices in hot bacon drippings in skillet until they soften, stirring to turn over. Add honey or brown sugar and a little salt and cinnamon, if desired. The honey or sugar will glaze the slices if allowed to remain on the fire, covered, 5–10 minutes, depending on heat.
