Slice bread on diagonal into about 20 slices, but do not slice through the bottom crust. Place on long sheet of heavy foil and stuff the cheese and bacon into the slices. Pour the melted butter slowly over the bread. Wrap the foil to enclose the loaf and bake at 350° about 25 minutes. Delicious with soup and a green salad.
