Beef Fondue

Ingredients

4 lettuce leaves
2 pounds boneless beef sirloin steaks, or tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
oil for deep frying

Directions:

1. Line 4 individual dishes with lettuce leaves. Arrange beef cubes over lettuce.

2. Place fondue pot base in center of table. Heat oil in fondue pot over medium heat to about 375°F. or until it browns a cube of bread quickly. Place fondue pot over base. (If using electric pot, use base to heat oil.)

3. With fondue fork, spear beef. Cook in hot oil until of desired doneness. Place on plate eat with dinner fork, dipping beef into desired sauces.
