Remove bones and skin from salmon. In medium bowl, combine salmon and egg. Stir in flour and onion powder. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Drop salmon mixture by 1/4 cupfuls into hot oil, flatten slightly, and fry on both sides until golden brown. Remove from oil, and sprinkle with salt to taste.
