2 1/2 cups cranberries
1 cup water
3/4 cup raisins
1 cup sugar
4 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup walnuts chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1 puff pastry shell for 9-inch pie, baked
2 cups whipped cream
In a medium saucepan cook cranberries in 1 cup water till cranberries pop. Add raisins. Combine sugar and cornstarch and stir into cranberry mixture. Cook and stir till mixture thickens and bubbles. Add nuts and butter and stir till butter melts. Pour into pie shell. Cool. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream.
