	Favorite Sherbet

Serves: 32

Print this Recipe

   5 cups sugar
   1 teaspoon salt
   3 tablespoons cornstarch
   2 quarts water
   1 quart whipped cream
   2 quarts milk
   6 oranges juiced
   2 lemons juiced
   1 16-ounce can crushed pineapple
   3 bananas, mashed

Combine sugar, salt, cornstarch, and water. Cook till clear, then cool. Add whipping cream and milk. Add orange juice and lemon juice, crushed pineapple, and mashed bananas. Pour into 8-quart ice cream freezer and freeze. (Cut recipe in half to make 4 quarts.)
