Cook bacon until crisp. Remove from skillet crumb and set aside. To bacon drippings in skillet add vinegar, brown sugar, salt, and onion. Add crumbled bacon heat thoroughly. In large bowl pour hot dressing over cabbage and parsley (1 tablespoon dried parsley may be substituted for fresh) toss until vegetables are thoroughly coated.
