Place the pork roasts or chops in a Dutch oven and brown in the olive oil. To make the sauce, combine sugar, vinegar, green pepper, water, and salt. Simmer for 5 minutes. Thicken with the cornstarch dissolved in water. Add the paprika and parsley. Pour the sauce over the browned pork and bake at 300°F for about 2 hours, basting occasionally, using 4 briquets under the Dutch oven and 12-14 on the lid. The charcoal will need to be freshened periodically to complete cooking.
