Brown meat, onion, and garlic in skillet. Spoon off excess fat. Stir in salt, oregano, bread, parsley, 1/4 cup spaghetti sauce, and Romano cheese. Cool slightly. Mix in mozzarella cheese and egg. Fill manicotti shells with meat mixture. Spread 1 cup spaghetti sauce in bottom of 7x12-inch baking dish. Arrange shells and cover with remaining sauce. Cover with foil. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove foil. Sprinkle with additional grated cheese. Bake, uncovered, 10 minutes.
