Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Place half of macaroni into a 2-quart casserole dish coated with butter-flavored non-stick vegetable spray. Sprinkle macaroni with onion powder, seasoned salt and one cup shredded cheese. Repeat layering. In a food processor, process egg, milk and cottage cheese until smooth. Pour mixture over top; dot with butter. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes, until heated through and set. Cool slightly before serving.
Tip: Give whole-grain pasta a try...it tastes great and contains more fiber than regular pasta. Check the label to be sure it’s made with whole-wheat flour, not simply wheat flour.
