In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat; add pork chops and brown on both sides. Transfer to a lightly greased 13"x9" baking pan and set aside. Toss together bread cubes or stuffing, butter, broth, celery and onion in a large bowl. Spoon heaping mounds of bread crumb mixture over pork chops; set aside. Combine soup and water; pour over pork chops. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and continue to bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until juices run clear.
Tip: Excess moisture can keep meat from browning well…just pat it dry with a paper towel first.
