1/2 cup oats instant
1 cup flour, stirred and measured
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
1/2 cup dry milk powder
1/2 cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1 egg
1 1/2 cups milk
In mixing bowl combine oats and dry ingredients. Cut in peanut butter as for pastry. Blend egg and milk and add to peanut butter mixture; mix well. Spoon into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan; spread batter evenly. Bake at 325 degrees F. for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan. Makes 1 loaf.
