Soften dough at room temperature for 5–10 minutes. Press into an ungreased 9x13-inch baking pan; sprinkle with peanut butter chips. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes or till lightly browned. Allow to cool 15–20 minutes.
Mix frosting and peanut butter until smooth. Spread over bars. Dollop spoonfuls of jelly (or jam) over frosting; swirl with a knife. Cut into small squares.
