Preheat oven to 375°. Lightly grease cookie sheets; set aside. Make 24 dough balls. Roll in peanuts, pressing to coat dough balls evenly. Insert cut end of a halved rod into each ball, pressing the rod to, but not through, end of dough ball. Place 3 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheets.
Bake 8–10 minutes or until tops are lightly browned. Let cool 1 minute before removing to a wire rack to cool.
