Yield: 1 dozen large rolls
Dissolve yeast in warm milk. In a bowl, mix well the sugar, salt, and margarine. Add 3 cups flour and yeast mixture; beat well. Mix in currants and nuts. Continue adding flour a little at a time until a soft dough forms. Add cinnamon and knead well. Place in lightly oiled bowl and let double in size.
Form dough into balls and place into a lightly oiled 12-inch Dutch oven; let rise double again. Bake at 400° for 30–35 minutes (8–10 coals on bottom, 18–20 coals on top). When done, remove from oven. Mix powdered sugar and just enough milk to make a thin glaze. Drizzle over rolls. Enjoy.
