Mix dill seed, dried onion, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Add eggs, butter, cottage cheese, and yeast; mix thoroughly. Add flour, 1 cup at a time; knead at least 8 minutes, adding flour until stiff. Put in a greased bowl in a warm place and let rise until double in size, about 1 hour. Remove; knead again. Place in greased loaf pan(s); let rise until double, about 20 minutes. Bake at 350° for 30–45 minutes, depending on the size of the pan.
