Cut crust from bread. Butter one side and place buttered-side-down in 9x13-inch pan. Layer 1/2 cheeses, chopped sausage, remaining 1/2 cheeses, then chiles. Beat together eggs, milk, and spices. Pour over ingredients in pan. Cover and chill overnight.
Bake uncovered at 325° for 50 minutes. Serve with fresh fruit.
