Mix flour, margarine, and salt like you would a pie crust. Combine egg yolk and milk. Stir into flour mix. Take half of this dough and press into 10x15-inch baking sheet. Slice apples onto pastry. Combine sugar, cinnamon, flour, and tapioca. Sprinkle on the apples. Roll out remaining dough and lay on top, sealing edge as best you can. Beat egg white and brush on top of dough. Bake for 10 minutes at 425°. Then bake 20 minutes at 350°. Cool. Swirl a powdered sugar glaze over the top (1 cup powdered sugar and hot water, enough to make a glaze).
