Mix melted margarine and sugar in mixer; beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, alternating with flour, beating after each addition. Add buttermilk, nutmeg, and vanilla. Mix again and pour into pie shell. Bake on the lower rack of a 375° oven for 30-35 minutes or until edges are firm but center is still a little trembly. This pie is good hot or cold. We always heated it in the microwave before serving.
