Peach Sunburst Pie

Ingredients

peeled, raw peaches halves
1 unbaked pie crust
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 egg, slightly beaten

Directions:

Place peach halves, cut-side-down, in crust. Cream the softened butter with sugar to which flour has been added. Combine with beaten egg. Pour over peaches. Bake at 350° for 55 minutes.

Note: A drop or two of almond extract, a few grains of salt, as well as nutmeg will add to this pie.
