Mix sausage with egg and divide in half. Roll each bread loaf into a large rectangle and cover with 1 cup shredded cheese and 1/2 sausage and egg mixture. Carefully roll up each loaf like a jellyroll, sealing edges, and place in 2 lightly greased loaf pans. Brush top of loaves with egg wash and bake at 350° for 30–40 minutes or until brown. May be cooked ahead and reheated.
Note: May use 1 hot and 1 mild package sausage.
