Virginia Ground-Ham Biscuits

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup ground cooked Virginia or country ham
3 tablespoons shortening
3/4 cup milk

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450°. Sift dry ingredients together. Combine with ground ham. Cut shortening in with knife till it is like meal. Add milk. Roll out 1/4 inch thick on floured board. Cut out with a biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 12–15 minutes or until brown.
