Melt chocolate chips and margarine; cool. Add chopped nuts and marshmallows. Divide mixture in half and form 2 large logs. Roll each log in powdered sugar or coconut. Wrap in aluminum foil and chill for 24 hours. Slice into 1/3-inch cookies.
Fun Fact: The Basilica of St. Francis Xavier is the Catholic parish for the residents of Dyersville, Iowa. It is one of only 52 basilicas in the United States, and the only one outside a large metropolitan area. The Gothic-style building was finished in 1888. It has 64 stained glass windows. One notable window features Saint Francis Xavier ministering to the Indians. The maker of the window had mistakenly used images of Native Americans instead of images of people from India. But the window was never changed.
