Variations
Honey-Lemon Glaze: Substitute 1/4 cup honey for the preserves and 1 tablespoon lemon juice for the curry powder.
Honey-Pineapple Glaze: Substitute 1/4 cup pineapple syrup or juice and 1/4 cup honey for the preserves and 1/2 teaspoon mace or nutmeg for the curry powder.
Soy-Butter Glaze: Substitute 1/3 cup soy sauce and 1/4 cup light or dark corn syrup for the preserves and 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder for the curry powder.
