For the most tender and moist barbecued spareribs, cut into serving-size pieces (2 to 3 ribs) and simmer, covered with water, for 30 to 45 minutes. Drain well and grill as directed, brushing frequently with the sauce of your choice. Ribs should be nicely glazed and browned in about 30 minutes. To keep ribs whole, place in a large shallow roasting pan and roast for 30 to 45 minutes at 350° F. before grilling.
