4 pounds pork spare ribs cut in serving-size pieces
3 cups water
1 onion small studded with 2 whole cloves
1 bay leaf
Peach Barbecue Sauce
Place ribs in a large kettle; add water, onion and bay leaf. Cover and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer gently for 30 minutes. Drain well.
To grill, place ribs on greased grill over hot coals. Baste generously with sauce. Grill for 30 minutes, turning and basting frequently. Heat remaining sauce and serve separately.
