Scrub potatoes and cut in pieces, leaving skins on. Put in saucepan and add 2 inches of water. Bring to boil. Cover and cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until tender when pierced with a fork. Drain. Return to pan and mash lightly, leaving lumps. Add evaporated milk, garlic salt and pepper. Stir until well blended.
