Cut potatoes in small pieces and place in large saucepan. Add 2 inches of water. Cover and bring to boil. Lower heat to low and cook for 20 to 30 minutes until potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork. Drain. Mash with potato masher, adding milk a little at a time until potatoes are light and fluffy. Salt and pepper as desired.
