Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl. Add butter and mix on low until mixture is crumbly. Stir together egg and milk and stir into crumb mixture just until moistened. Turn onto a floured surface and knead 10 to 15 times. Roll out 1-inch thick and cut with a biscuit cutter or rim of a glass. Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 450°F for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with honey butter. Makes 12.
*1 cup of whole wheat flour can be substituted for 1 cup of flour.
