3 pounds beef ribs
Fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
1 onion medium chopped
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice fresh
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Heat oven to 350° F. Brush ribs with lemon juice; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in a roasting pan. Mix remaining ingredients; pour over meat and cover pan.
Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes, basting several times. Uncover during last 15 minutes to brown.
* These beef ribs are cut from the long bone end of a standing beef roast. The meat is quite tender, unlike that of short ribs of beef.
