1. In large saucepan, bring to a boil enough water to cover shrimp add salt. Add shrimp immediately reduce heat to medium.
2. Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Do not boil. Shrimp will become tough if overcooked. Plunge into cold water to stop cooking. Drain.
3. Peel and devein shrimp. Serve warm or chilled.
