1. Line cookie sheet with waxed paper. In large bowl, combine popcorn and gumdrops.
2. In medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, margarine and salt mix well. Bring to a boil. Cook over medium-high heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add to popcorn mixture mix well.
3. With hands dipped in cold water, shape mixture into 2 1/2-inch balls. Place on waxed paper-lined cookie sheets. Cool 15 minutes. Wrap individually in plastic wrap.
