Diann Gordon is a devoted wife and partner, true friend, a reliable volunteer, and a hard worker. However, the first thing that comes to mind when asked about Diann Gordon is her reputation as a cook and hostess. As Diann's husband, I have heard stories dating back to her early childhood in front of the Easy-Bake oven when she made cakes and cookies for young friends.
Diann has been involved with charities, professional and religious organizations, including the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Habitat for Humanity, Hadassah, Paralegal Association, and has served as public relations vice-president for the temple sisterhood.
When friends are in need of assistance, Diann is there to help. When friends have babies, Diann prepares and freezes foods that can be baked in the oven by the "not-so-handy-in-the-kitchen" father. When friends have had a
special event, Diann has helped plan the party, prepared and served food, and refused to accept compensation, insisting it was a gift.
Diann is well educated with a degree from Southern Methodist University and a legal education from Pepperdine Law School. In the spring of 1995, Diann made a career change that would allow her to pursue her passion for baking and cooking. She left a career in the legal community to attend a culinary arts program.
Cooking is but one of the many ways Diann demonstrates her creative talents. She buys and refinishes old and antique furniture, decorates our home, and gardens. Her other interests include step aerobics, golf, camping, hiking, and fishing.
Diann demonstrates ideals that typify the nineties. She is smart, dedicated to her beliefs, and willing to pursue her passions because they make her happy.
