Old-Fashioned Meat Loaf

Ingredients

1 (16-ounce) can whole tomato
1 1/4 pounds ground beef
1/4 pound ground pork
3/4 cup regular oats
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 375°.
2. Drain tomatoes, reserving 1/4 cup liquid. Cut tomatoes up with fork. Mix reserved liquid, the tomatoes and remaining ingredients thoroughly.
3. Pack in loaf pan, 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. Bake uncovered until done, 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until beef mixture is no longer pink in center and juice is clear. Remove from pan.
